The Benefits of Professional Realty Photography, Part 2

Hi everyone, Ashley here again, this week I’m going to continue discussing the benefits of having your real estate listings professionally photographed, and provide you with more specific data regarding the correlation between the “sharpness” of photos and how close to listing price they sell, and also the increase in benefits within varying real estate price points. Before I begin today, I’d like to give you a quick recap of last week’s blog, “The Benefits of Professional Realty Photography” (part 1). In it we gave a good deal of data and information that shows more homes sold that had photos from a professional photographer compared to photos taken with a basic “point and shoot” camera, and that they sold 50% faster and 39% closer (at or above) to list price. In addition, we also found that 90% of would be home buyers are online, and that having a professionally photographed listing generated a 129% increase in clicks, or 61% more online views. And if you haven’t yet read it, I urge you to do so, as it provides a much more comprehensive overview of the benefits of using a professional to photograph listings, than today’s more specific “Part 2”. It is common knowledge that one of the primary responsibilities of a realtor is to get a seller the best sales price possible, and the majority of that task relies on a strong visual representation of the home, i.e. the right photographer combined with the right photographic equipment and knowledge. Across all price tiers, homes with professional photographs sold faster and for more money, with the benefits increasing dramatically in...

The Benefits of Professional Realty Photography

Hi everyone, Ashley here, Bobby wanted me to share a few interesting stats regarding the benefits of real estate photography to the blog this week. There are many studies that show listing professional photos are a critical factor in the selling price of a home, how quickly it sells, and even whether or not it sells at all. For would-be home buyers, the photographs of a home are what draws us in, and what piques our interest enough to entice us to contact the agent to schedule a visit. In today’s age of multiple technology devices, the majority of potential buyers are viewing these homes online. On average, 90% of home buyers are online, and the first thing an online buyer does is look at a photo. Those images are the first impressions that a buyer gets, and if an image captures their interest then they are more likely to click through to an agent’s website. A real estate listing with photos has about 20 seconds to accomplish this, and utilizing professional photos can draw more attention to your listings and result in more “clicks” by potential buyers. Listings that used professional photos generated an average of a 129% increase in “clicks”, compared to listings with basic “point and shoot” photos, and 61% more online views. It’s quite simple: the more views you have, the faster the home sells. In fact, professional photos are statistically proven to help agents sell listings up to 50% faster, and within 6 months of the home entering the market. Homes that are professionally photographed also sell 39% closer to list price, and more...

Intro: Assistant Ashley on the Blog

Hi everyone, This week I want to introduce Ashley Klimek to the blog. Ashley joined my team about a month or so ago and has been doing a fantastic job behind the scenes assisting me with multiple tasks. As a small business owner, it’s often very difficult to continuously keep up on everything on your own and I’m grateful Ashley has accepted this part time role as my “Executive Assistant.” She’s been a tremendous help and is a very driven, goal oriented individual who isn’t afraid to think outside of the box, this also works well with my goofy eccentricities as a person and business owner. With that, heres Ashley’s blog…   Introducing…ME! Hello everyone, I’m Ashley Klimek, Executive Assistant at Drakulic Photography LLC. I’m very excited to be on the blog this week, and first and foremost would like to thank Bobby Drakulic for allowing me this opportunity to introduce myself to you…thanks Bobby! Some of you may already know me as your friendly neighborhood bartender at Ski’s and Nick’s Lounge Inc., where you’ll find me 3-4 days a week slinging cocktails and helping make memories. If you haven’t been there, stop by sometime to visit me (it’s like Cheers, but better!) When I found out that I’d be doing the blog this week, I couldn’t help but brainstorm what sort of business related topics I could discuss with you ( I have a few, but we’ll save them for future posts.) After much deliberation I decided I will just give you a little about my background and how I came to be here, working for a photographer....
